Bibione: discover what to do and see
Area
Hotel Montecarlo is located in Bibione, a seaside resort known for its beautiful, quiet beaches overlooking the Adriatic Sea. The town and its surroundings have a lot to offer to its visitors, from the most urban activities to the itineraries of naturalistic value in the surroundings. We want to tell you what to do and see in Bibione and in its hinterland.
SHOPPING
Take a piece of your holiday home with a bit of healthy shopping! The main streets of Bibione, Viale Aurora and Via delle Costellazioni, just 700 meters from the hotel, are located in an area which becomes pedestrian in the evening, where you can walk in search of typical products of the local food and wine and clothing made in Italy.
Those looking for shopping centers and outlets, with big Italian and international brands, can move out of town to Portogruaro, Villesse, Palmanova and Noventa di Piave, within a radius of 60 km from Bibione.

FUN
Bibione at sunset and in the evening transmits an enchanted atmosphere. We recommend a romantic walk on the promenade, or a jump in the clubs with live music excellent for aperitifs and cocktails after dinner, starting from our lounge bar at the Montecarlo cafe. Finally, to end the evening in a more unrestrained way, you can indulge in wild dances in nearby discos.
Do not miss the Sunday evening aperitif at the Montecarlo Cafè.

Excursions and guided tours can be booked directly at our hotel reception desk to visit the most famous cities: Venice, Verona, Trieste, Treviso, Padua and Udine.

BIBIONE 5 ACQUAE
Bibione is surrounded by 5 “aquae”: the Adriatic Sea, the thermal baths, the lagoons, the river Tagliamento and the waterway of the Litoranea Veneta. It is like an island of natural treasures, with spaces rich in biodiversity and capable of taking you to a completely new dimension! Follow the water paths and explore the Valgrande, with many species of fauna and flora to admire.
NATURE AND HIKING
Some areas of Bibione are rich in greenery and lush vegetation, especially in our pine forest, with Mediterranean plants and alpine flora. You can admire pines, holm oaks and wild primroses, but also wild animals such as fallow deer, horses and cormorants. The environment is characterized by the typical houses of fishermen, the “casoni”, still marked by marsh reed roofs.
The lagoon is one of the favorite areas for reproduction and rest of many species of migratory birds. Walking through the vegetation you will be surprised by the remains of a Roman villa, where ancient mosaics are still visible.
